I use MultiTech MT 2834 series with success. The MT2834 comes in many
different variations. I have used MT2834BR and MT2834ZDX. International
versions of these MODEMS have slightly different model numbers.

The 2834 stand alone modems are at the bottom of the page.

Other users of HylaFax have reported success with the 56K MultiTech
MODEMS as well.
