Patriotic or not, it's the truth.  Take a look at RelayFax pricing at:
http://relayfax.deerfield.com/pricing/

For US$2000 you can buy one heckufa faxserver computer, put linux on it
(free), put HylaFAX on it (free), and you'll be better off in the long run
anyway because you won't have to deal with those oh-how-fun-they-are blue
screens.  Furthermore... well, I'll end there.

The plain truth is that the OS and platform should support the applications
they run.  When buying a computer you buy it so that you can run the
applications.
