Sorry 'bout that.

I am running HylaFAX 4.1 from CVS on Linux-Mandrake 6.1
The modem is LT 33.6 MT3334ZDX Serial Data/Fax Modem Version 1.05B

I thought the problem to be a little strange myself,  but that was the
configuration that I ended up with when I finally got it working.

Wow.  That's weird.  Yet another one for the mailing list archives,
though.  I'm beginning to suspect there are heretofore unsuspected
differences between firmware revs.

Folks: when you post this sort of info, can you include the firmware
revision of your modem?  (I think that's ATI4), but faxgetty is
probably syslogging it, if you can't find it directly.
