There's an AIX binary (actually two of them) at:

I do not know what patches have/have not been applied though.

Well, I'd be happy to give it a try.  I'll presume you're compiling
from source; I don't think anyone had posted binaries for AIX.

I know that there has been some traffic on AIX build problems lately,
here, or on the developers list.  What exactly is breaking?
