[hylafax-users] maxdials

Hello,
I have set maxdials to value 3 in:
config file
config.ttyS1 file

stop/start hylafax

but all the jobs in /sendq have the value 12 in the maxdials field.

What is wrong?

Another thing,
I do not have quite clear the difference between maxdials and maxtries

I understand for maxtries number of attempts (dial without answer, engaged
number,etc)
and maxdials number of telephone calls with calling dial tone.

wrong?
