Oh, just missed that in my answer. The modem firmware is definitely
broken. That's why I am trying to fix Hylafax Class 1 bugs now :-) Some
nasty bugs have already been found and fixed (e.g. "remote is not T.4
compatible" )

No known standalone fax machine would resend the message after RTN (even
the newer units with a plenty of internal RAM). Only brain-damaged fax
software do so :-)
