flexfax: Ghostscript resolution?

The Ghostscript 5.10 in the Debian Linux distribution for Hylafax
4.0.2 seems to give poor resolution.

I'm comparing it against a 3 something Hylafax and gs 5.03, for the
same faxed documents, and they just don't seem to be the same
resolution.

I hardcoded VRes at 196 in ps2fax to verify that the -m was working
in sendfax.

Any help would be appreciated ...
