Re: execv /usr/sbin/in.identd: No such file or directory



It means your inetd.conf file is messed up.  You have an entry for auth
there that points to a non-existent program.  Something (perhaps sendmail,
maybe on another machine) is trying to connect to the auth service.  Not
really HylaFAX's problem.

Suggest you comment out the auth entry (whichever calls out in.identd) in
your /etc/inetd.conf file (unless you /really/ need ident), and restart
inetd.
