My copy is already opening the fifo as RDWR, that's not my problem...

All I could find on the list with faxq and your name was:
 - faxq maxing out CPU
     This is that one you referred to, but I had already checked this.
 - faxaddmodem problem on Solaris 2.6 (3 messages)
     I'm not having problems with faxmodem add.

Any other thoughts?
