flexfax: sendmail problem

After a crash of my linux server  I can't connect with telnet from a
workstation
,from the linux server is all ok , hylafax send and receive fax , and I can
show  received fax with Pine, but when i make connectionn with telnet from a
workstation I receive this message:

+OK faxserver POP3 Server (Version 1.006d) ready at <Tue Dec 07 08:33:05
1999>
user pina
+OK please send PASS command
pass pina
-ERR being read already /var/spool/mail/pina

What can I make ?
