... Well what do the exim log files say .. there is probaly some major
problem with the exim config which is causing some mail loop ... possibly
set off my mail from hylafax or prehaps the way hylafax called exim ..
alough exim should be fairly sendmail compatable

... well try stopping exim and or hylafax until you sort it out.
