Re: HylaFAX on SCO 5.0.x, textfmt failing?
My file "/usr/share/fax/hyla.conf" contains:
FontPath: /usr/share/fax/afm
/usr/share/fax/afm contains:
AvantGarde-Book.afm Helvetica-Oblique.afm
AvantGarde-BookOblique.afm Helvetica.afm
AvantGarde-Demi.afm NewCenturySchlbk-Bold.afm
AvantGarde-DemiOblique.afm NewCenturySchlbk-BoldItalic.afm
Bookman-Demi.afm NewCenturySchlbk-Italic.afm
Bookman-DemiItalic.afm NewCenturySchlbk-Roman.afm
Bookman-Light.afm Palatino-Bold.afm
Bookman-LightItalic.afm Palatino-BoldItalic.afm
Courier-Bold.afm Palatino-Italic.afm
Courier-BoldOblique.afm Palatino-Roman.afm
Courier-Oblique.afm Symbol.afm
Courier.afm Times-Bold.afm
Helvetica-Bold.afm Times-BoldItalic.afm
Helvetica-BoldOblique.afm Times-Italic.afm
Helvetica-Narrow-Bold.afm Times-Oblique.afm
Helvetica-Narrow-BoldOblique.afm Times-Roman.afm
Helvetica-Narrow-Oblique.afm ZapfChancery-MediumItalic.afm
Helvetica-Narrow.afm ZapfDingbats.afm
But: sendfax -n -D -d+1-999-999-9999 <<!^JHello^J!
Still complains:
/usr/local/sbin/textfmt: No font metric information found for "Courier-Bold".
Usage: /usr/local/sbin/textfmt [-1] [-2] [-B] [-c] [-D] [-f fontname] [-m N] [-o #] [-p #] [-r] [-U] [-Ml=#,r=#,t=#,b=#] [-V #] files... >out.ps
Default options: -f Courier -1 -p 11bp -o 0
Error converting data; command was "/usr/local/sbin/textfmt -B -f Courier-Bold -p 11 -s default >/tmp//faxsnda09919 </tmp//sndfaxa09919"
I would be grateful for any additional suggestions...
Thanks,
Dick
