The search path, just at the bottom. That's what you want. Put them in 
/usr/local/share/ghostscript/fonts.

That's because you don't have the AFM fonts installed. You need to copy them

(they're in the afm/ dir in the HylaFAX source) into the directory:

/usr/local/share/ghostscript/fonts

so that gs can use them.
