flexfax: TIFFLib may not be Y2K safe

Someone attempted to mail me direct with a question about the Y2K
status of TIFFLib.  I'm not replying as it was not in response to 
something I wrote and should have gone on the list.  However, they
quote this URL:

as saying that it assumes 19xx years, and say they have failed to
find a replacement.
