Chase IOLAN terminal server

Does anyone have success using a Chase IOLAN terminal server on a Sun
Solaris system?  I have hooked it up (8-port unit) and created the
pseudo devices but HylaFAX doesn't seem to address the pseudo devices
very well.  HylaFAX appears to be looking for a serial device (ttya or
ttyb which work very well).
