back with the problem



    Hello everybody,
I was out to read FAQs, manuals, order a better modem and to play
with image conversion. I cannot get HylaFAX running... Please help.
  Setup: 
      Linux RH 5.2 
      gs 5.10
      hylafax-4.0pl2-3rh5
      Multi-Modem MT2834 (bought today :) on /dev/cua0 (replaced USR
V.Everything)
      Receiver: Panasonic KX-FP270 (new and working well)
  in inittab:
      mo:2345:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty modem

  The image quality is of question, only Silicon Graphics logo was
transmitted ok, text is shifted and smashed. I have tried tif file
as well. Could only read one line out 25 with very bad quality. 

    I'll appreciate any comments and suggestions. After 6 years
of Linux experience :) I cannot make it work.
