Don`t know, since then i got no faxes , but outgoing faxes were o.k.
i also will install a newer version of setserial, i think this will clean the
(/bin/stty: standard input: unable to perform all requested operations)
message.

my permissions are different than yours (don`t know if it`s a problem)
