You are unlikely to get a legally binding statement for the current version
(or any other freeware software for that matter), although see Thursday's
contributions to the list for an informal statement on the current version.

Your version is totally unsupported and it is unlikely that anyone on the list 
competent to evaluate it is still using it.

(Looks like we are into the fourth or fifth round of Y2K questions - round
one was around January 1998.)
