faxgetty: "not a valid tty"
System is SCO Open Server Enterprise 5.0.4.
HylaFAX is v4.0pl2.
The command,
faxgetty -D ttybF
works fine. However, I cannot spawn faxgetty from inittab.
# l /dev/ttybF
crw------- 1 uucp terminal 116,141 Nov 2 16:58 /dev/ttybF
#
# grep bF /etc/inittab
bF:23:off:/usr/local/HylaFAX-v4.0/slib/faxgetty ttybF
# l /usr/local/HylaFAX-v4.0/slib/faxgetty
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root sys
442444 Apr 19 1998 /usr/local/HylaFAX-v4.0/slib/faxgetty
# enable ttybF
enable: ttybF not enabled : not a valid tty
