If the modem id isn't already present, it should be easy to make it 
available.  If the modems are pooled, you need to talk to your PABX
manufacturer.  The probable solution involves connecting to the
PABX call logging (SMDR) port or to a CTI (Computer Telephony
Integration) port and writing software to analyze the data and correlate
it with the modem on which the fax was received.

This information is NOT forwarded to analogue phone lines, and therefore
is not available to modems.
