You have several desires here.

The UNIX print spooling mechanism is quite distinct (though similar in
form) to the UNIX HylaFAX spool. Keep that separate: the drivers, etc.
are quite different and should not be confused for each other.

The Wintel print spooling mechanism is a convuleted anti-Christ symbol.
Easiest for that is to use something like "WHFC" to "print" jobs
from the PC's to the fax spool. That covers thw Win95 boxes.

The UNIX boxes are a bit different: there are so many ways to send print
jobs to the print spool, each slightly different, that you've have to
think hard about how to determine the fax numer, comments, etc. for each
outgoing fax job.

I personally use tkhylafax as a GUI, and sfax as a text based tool,
for preparing outgoing jobs on UNIX. Both are available at
ftp://ftp.sgi.com/sgi/fax/contrib/
