flexfax: HylaFAX -vs- Boca

  I'm trying to get HylaFAX to send pages (not fax pages, alphanumeric
beeper pages).  However, the faxq process is smoking crack and giving me

  I tried typing all that junk into Seyon and after dialing I get

CONNECT 9600/ARQ


   Why can't HylaFAX wait for the CONNECT string?  Mail clues to
thoth@purplefrog.com.
