in fact -- this is my problem. We're running a TPC.INT cell here, and
as often this problem occurs, people call us and are *very* upset about
abusing their fax machines. Even worse, all they see is the cover sheet,
not the actual message.

Perhaps I shall add a line to the cover page saying: "In case you receive
this page multiple times, blame Zyxel, not us" ;-)

Ok, what type of modem do you use know?
Someone else recommended a Multitech, which I haven't handy right now.
What I have is an old USR Courier V32bis, tons of USR Sportster 28800
and a couple of ELSA/TKR 28800 modems. And finally, a no-name Rockwell
14400 modem with no docs available. And perhaps even more exotic things
somewhere downstairs in dusty corners.

I swapped to an old 1496E (not EG+ or the like) which at least sometimes
behaves better. I'm not sure about since it passed a couple of test
to a known faxmachine which never worked together with the 1496EG+,
but it passed not _all_ tests. This is really driving me crazy :-(

Thanks for any help,
Andy
