I may be wrong, but I think this is a FAQ. I think the problem lies with
the ECM facility of ZyXEL modems. Switch off the error correction by
putting a line in your config file that tells hylafax not to probe the
modem's error correction facility, but just use it under the assumption
that ECM doesn't work. I remember this being mentioned in the FAQ
somewhere. Please try and see if you can find it there. The exact line
to put into the config files is given there.
