I found it... ;-)

It took long, but, as someone out there already mentioned, it's a bug with the
PostScript code...

The documents I tried to send, are all generated by FrameMaker 4.0.

The bug is in the header of the FrameMaker PostScript Output.

After having sent this PostScript through "fixfmps" from the psutils package,
everything works splendidly... ;-)

What's wrong with the FrameMaker PostScript?

[PauCasals: pfuetz/frame] {105} % diff testdok*ps
662c662
< {{1 dict dup /PageSize [paperwidth paperheight]put pop}stopped
---
> {{1 dict dup /PageSize [paperwidth paperheight]put setpagedevice}stopped
[PauCasals: pfuetz/frame] {106} %

Just change "setpagedevice" to "pop", and Bob's your uncle...

Sincerly,
        Matthias
