win95 PS-file problems

Hi,

Setup:
hylafax-v4.0pl1 on Pentium running Linux (Redhat 4.0)
compiled with gcc 2.7.2.1
gs : Aladdin Ghostscript 3.33 (4/10/1995)

Problem :
My outgoing fax service is doing a great job. But only for ASCII
documents. Postscript generated with pcps of xv is fine too, but any
PS-file generated on a Win95 PC gives me problems...
The strange thing is, the PS file seems to be converted to fax-format by
gs, but when my modem tries to contact the other side, the modems don't
indicate Carrier Detect !
When I try to convert the fax temporary file to PS (using the fax2ps tool)
and then try to fax this postscript file, it works !

In the log file, I get the following messages :
May 29 16:54:26.31: [28181]: REMOTE best rate 14400 bit/s
May 29 16:54:26.31: [28181]: REMOTE max page width 2432 pixels in 303 mm

May 29 16:54:26.63: [28181]: --> [2:OK]
May 29 16:54:26.63: [28181]: SESSION END

Has anyone got an idea what is wrong with my setup?

Thanks !

Karel
