Sendfax -

I am new to this list, so please forgive me if I ask a lot of old
questions.

After fighting with the HylaFAX-4.0 for a few days, I was finally able to
install it on my ScoUnix Openserver machine.  I am using a GVC VFM-144V
modem.  (I will be happy to give out the config file if anybody want it.)

Now, I am having some troubles with the sendfax.  

1) I can't send a fax with the command :
	sendfax -d 2337266 /etc/passwd

   - return mail complain about a conversion error.  But I went into 
     the .../docq directory and able to view the document with pageview.
     and the postscript file generated seens to be ok.

2) I was able to send out fax when I give a ps file.

3) After I submit a sendfax command with gif89 file, there is no complain, 
   no email notification, and also NO OUTBOUND FAX.


I don't quit understand the typerules and hyla.conf files.  So, all I did
is to create a hyla.conf file under /usr/local/HylaFAX-v4.0/lib with only
one line

TypeRules:      /usr/local/HylaFAX-v4.0/lib/typerules
-------
And the typerules file, I am using the one come with the software.
