Thanks that helped me, I have found the program in /var/httpd/.... where the compilation has put it.
I copied them to the other machine and it worked. I was looking in the hylafax directories only. With your 
hint, I could trace it, that it is compiled and installed at this location. Thanks again.

However there are still some parts missing.
Since I have now the new FAQ running ;-) 
Q145 Troublesho(u)oting, the link faxsend (and others) of this page put me to manpage?1+faxsend, 
however there is no man1 only a man8. Have I lost some manpages?
