Re: faxstat -s problem
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Ueno, first go to version 4.0pl1 for the minor patches for other
software problems there. Also, read my latest updates to the SunOS
installation notes (at
http://cirl.meei.harvard.edu/~raoul/INSTALL-sunos-v4.0pl1.html)
And run "faxstat -vrs" to see the full output.
You also want to change your ttytab entry to
ttya "/usr/local/hylafax/lib/faxgetty" dialup on
to enable faxgetty on the line, do a "kill -HUP 1" to re-initialize
the getty's, and make sure you've run "faxsetup" to get everything set up
correctly.
You can also delete hfaxd from the /etc/inetd.conf file if you are going
to run it as a stand-alone job, which Sam has recommended for the HylaFAX
servers. The "hylafax" script in /usr/local/spool/hylafax/etc/hylafax of
the v4.0pl1 distribution is very nice for this.
