LH:What does this mean?  It means that you have another fax receiving 
LH:device attached to the same line as this HylaFAX system is attached.  
LH:Specifically it is a fax machine of Korean manufacture (possibly 
LH:Samsung - can you please tell me what kind of fax machine it is, 
LH:exactly?), and the identification is "  ".  It supports V.34-Fax 
LH:(SuperG3), fine/superfine/ultrafine resolutions, 10 ms/scanline, error 
LH:correction, and MMR data format.

that's weird.  there is another fax machine (a canon i believe, i will 
double check and report back exactly what it is) that's on the same phone 
line, but i have it configured to answer on the 6th ring, and hylafax is 
configured to receive on the 1st ring.

it worked for 2 months, then started doing this last week.  strange.

i will try configuring the fax machine to not answer at all.  it still 
needs to be plugged in so the office can send out faxes manually.  i left 
it plugged in but set it to receive on 6 rings because if there ever was a 
problem w/ the hylafax server, i wanted the office personnel to just 
unplug the phone line from the fax server and not have to worry about 
configuring the fax machine to receive (i'm not always there to 
troubleshoot every problem right away).
