Re: [hylafax-users] Autoanswer

Thanks for your replies, I have already ServerTracing
0xfff, but the messages log files don't show so many
informations:

when I start faxgetty:
Apr 24 18:05:03 waterloovoip FaxGetty[3461]: OPEN
/dev/ttyIAX HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.2.5
Apr 24 18:05:07 waterloovoip HylaFAX[3464]: HylaFAX
INET connection from localhost [127.0.0.1]
Apr 24 18:05:07 waterloovoip HylaFAX[3464]: USER root
Apr 24 16:05:07 waterloovoip HylaFAX[3464]: FAX LOGIN
FROM localhost [127.0.0.1], root
Apr 24 16:05:07 waterloovoip HylaFAX[3464]: PORT
127.0.0.1;384
Apr 24 16:05:07 waterloovoip HylaFAX[3464]: LIST
status

----------------------------------------------------
when I place a call to the modem, nothing happens, I
can't see anything in messages...
so i did 'faxanswer ttyIAX' and I got:
Apr 24 18:07:51 waterloovoip FaxGetty[3461]: ANSWER
any
Apr 24 18:07:55 waterloovoip FaxGetty[3461]: ANSWER:
FAX CONNECTION DEVICE '/dev/ttyIAX'

that are the only kind of FaxGetty-messages I get.
Should there be more in the logfiles?

best regards,
Ivona Miletic
