Re: [hylafax-users] PDF file format

I am new to Hylafax and installed my first fax server just a few days ago.

I’m using Fedora Core 5, HylaFax 4.2.5, MultiTech ISI Fax 4-modem, ttyS0, ttyS1, ttyS2, ttyS3. All are working fine receiving faxes and the email with .pdf attachment works too.

The only thing I would like to do is have HylaFax receive the faxes as PDF files instead of TIFF files. I looked through the archives and could not find a good solution. The idea is to have people hit the webserver on the Fax Server and be able to view the PDF files instead of TIFF.

From time to time a modem gets wedged and the status goes “Waiting for the modem come ready”. There’s any way to automatically unwedged the modem?
