Hi,

I would like to configure hylafax to have :

vgetty for voice call

and
hylafax for fax call

I don't have distinctive ring



AdaptiveAnswer:         yes

AnswerRotary:           fax extern
EGettyArgs:             "ttyS0"

If voice call => it's not good. It's  fax which answers, no extern

It's fax call => it's good!

It is normal that the modem hangs up?

I found the problem !!!

I have a usrobotics and I use "/var/spool/hylafax/config/usr-rts"

ModemAnswerCmd:         AT+FCLASS=1&H1&I0&R2A   # force RTS/CTS after change

with ';' it's good!

ModemAnswerCmd:         AT+FCLASS=1&H1&I0&R2;A # force RTS/CTS after change

NO, it's not good ;o((

Now, for fax, it's with mgetty, not with hylafax !

I don't understand the use of ';'

I don't manage to configure the modem so that it does not hang up when it passes to egetty

I don't manage to determine if the problem comes from hylafax or vgetty.
