Re: [hylafax-users] Cannot send anything

Also, if your useing a USR 56K (5610B?) You may want to insert the command

Class1SwitchingCmd: "<delay:7>"
in the file config.ttyS0 which is in the hylafax dir under spool, the exact name changeing depending on your install.

Search the archives for your modem for more details, but the USRs require a bit of tweeking. I had some trouble with mine at first, but its sailing smoothly now, although there apparently is potential for problems with them still, so, consider yourself on slightly shakey ground with a USR modem.

Dear hylafax users,

I'm becoming crazy trying to use Hylafax on TSL 2.2. Nothing works and
frankly I don't have change to imagine the solution.

I've attached a 3Com US Robotics 56K Faxmodem on the COM1 port (ttyS0),
Hylafax seems to recognize perfectly the modem so I try this command:

root@fax /# sendfax -n -d 0,0670612248 /usr/src/FatArsial.pdf

the system responds with this:

request id is 6 (group id 6) for host localhost (1 file)
root@fax /#

I'm mistaking in some way?

Thanks for your help!
