[hylafax-users] faxmail and MIME Handling

Hi,

I'm trying to get HylaFax 4.2.5 up and running with mime attachments (in
particular pdf files) and I don't appear to be having much luck. I've
created the MimeConverters: reference in faxmail.conf but attachments just
don't seem to come out right.

I've gone to the extent of pulling down the source code and building a debug
version of the code, but I can't get the debugger to allow me to pipe in a
mail messages. However, by judicious use of print statements I find that in
faxmail.c++ I get to the following block of code:-

Const fxStr* cersion = findHeader("MIME-Version");
if(version && *version == "1.0") {
	beginFile();
...

At this point though there is a MIME-Version 1.0 header in the e-mail file
*version is not found to equal 1.0 and faxmail goes onto treat the header as
a text file.

Can anybody help me progress on this?

Regards,

Bernard McAuley
