[hylafax-users] erroneous failure message

I got this failure message:

Your facsimile job to 1212760NNNN
    -e COMREC invalid response received to PPS.;
	Giving up after 3 attempts to send same page

    ---- Unsent job status ----

     Destination: 1212760NNNN
	   .....
          Status: COMREC invalid response received to PPS.;
		Giving up after 3 attempts to send same page
         Dialogs: 3 (exchanges with remote device)
           Dials: 0 (consecutive failed calls to destination)
           Calls: 3 (total phone calls placed)


I'm running 4.2.3.  In the doneq file, I note:
	nsf:Equipment:Canon Laser Class 9000 Series:

I called the recipient to discuss the problem, and was told that three
copies had been received.  So that failure message is hardly reporting
"the whole truth and nothing but the truth".
