Re: [hylafax-users] ,,modem: any'' in doneq/q###

Hello everybody,

I have been working with HylaFAX for almost a month by now and gained
some reasonable basic understatement of the system.

Right now I am working with multiple modem configuration. My aim is to know
which modem was used to send a job. It looks as if a natural way to do it was
to feed a job report file (doneq/q###) to the notify.awk script. This script
finds ,modem: ttyS#' and knows what to do with this information.

I encountered a problem: the job report file contains ,modem: any' unless the
user had specified particular modem (using sendfax -h or whatever).

Is there any other way to retrieve this information from the HylaFAX system?

I would recommend looking at the xferfaxlog file instead.

If you need a script hook for this action, then I have some recent developments that you may appreciate. Let me know.

Lee.
