hey hylafax users,

 

i use a win2000srv and a winxp workstation and a debian sarge mail/faxserver. respond.exe (v1.5) on the windows server is used to submit facsimile (without any problems). submitting facsimile from the workstation is not possible.

logfile output:

 

printfax[19023]: Password:Login failed: 500 'PASS '

 

so i checked several man pages, groups and tried several parameters in

hosts.hfaxd but now i'm at a loss.

 

to submit facsimile from the pdc i use username "admin" which you can find in

host.faxd without a password. so i tried username "admin" to send facsimile from the workstations without any success....Password:Login failed: 500. so it must have something to do with network settings in hosts.hfaxd. by the way submitting facsimile is working f ine with a empty hosts.hfaxd but ^admin.
