[hylafax-users] slow client times out

I attempted to sendfax some pages, but they require extensive
preprocessing via typerules (png->tif conversions). So it took
forever. Apparently as a result, I got this error after all the files
had been converted, as sendfax tried to send them to the server:
--------------------------------------
Service not available, remote server closed connection
421 Timeout (900 seconds): closing control connection.
Document transfer failed: 421 Timeout (900 seconds): closing control connection.
---------------------------------

Smaller jobs work. Server tracing shows that sendfax makes a
connection as soon as it starts.

How can I get this to work? I see a MaxIdleTimeout paramater for the
configuration file, but it says this changes the maximum a client can
request. That makes it sound as if I need to tweak the client too.
I'd appreciate any pointers.

P.S. I am about to install a faster computer, but I want this one to
work for now :)
