Your best bet is to upgrade to 4.2.3 and re-run faxsetup (that last step is 
important!)

You can probably also fix this by editing /var/spool/hylafax/etc/setup.cache 
and setting ENCODING='base64'

Hi,

I am runing HylaFAX version 4.2.1 on a Mandriva 2006
everything working fine except the attachement in mail notification.
i am getting them but cannot open them , they are not recognise as Image 
file.

i download the tif from recvq/ dir and the i can open them, but from the 
meail notification they seems not good.

i turn notification as attachement off for now until i get rid of this 
problem.

any help will be appreciate.
