No, I dont think - as long as you take care to transfer your old settings, if 
you have an earlier version installed in .../fax.
Actually, SuSE had split the package into client (including sendafx) and the 
server (hylafax backend)...not a bad idea, as you usually have more clients 
than servers :-) 
That was the case in the 9.3. In 10.0 it is not included at all.
