this combination should work. (and probably does work for you now)

I just looked into my xferfaxlog. It does show a commid (logfile  
number) for documents received but 000000000 for documents sent. Older  
entries show commid for both sending and receiving.
Probably this is a bug introduced with the change from 01.02.03 to  
01.02.00.
Maybe you should try a newer version from SVN.
