[hylafax-users] Control of signaling rate?
Hello list,
I need to send and receive large volumes of FAX traffic to perform tests on VOIP equipment.
I'm trying to use a pair of USR 5610B modems in a (Ubuntu) Linux PC with HylaFAX to create a test apparatus.
One of the things I need to do is control the signaling rate that is used with each FAX.
The -b and -B flags used with 'sendfax' don't seem to affect the signaling rate negotiated for FAX transmission.
I've also tried playing with the 'faxmodem' command using the -c argument, but that doesn't seem to do anything either.
The log always reports using a 14400 bps rate.
Am I doing something wrong?
My modems are configured as Class 1 devices.
Should this work? Are the modems just ignoring me?
./Loren
