[hylafax-users] Dialrules to add 1 and stop faxes with <=9 numbers

Hello guys,

Thanks to Bodo Meissner for my last problem. i got it :-) .

Now I have a problem with dialing. It was just recently that our Asterisk system was configured so that you won't have to dial [9] or [1] to dial out. this became a problem for toll free numbers somehow, that it doesn't connect with Hylafax when dialing it directly, but it works and sends succesfully when you include a [91] or [1] (eg. 1+8003236547). I beleive this would have to be changed in my etc/diarules. I have the entry

^[8]{1}.*$              = 1,&

which seems to not work. so my syntax may be wrong here.

Another is, how can i stop jobs for being considered by Hylafax if they have 9 or less numbers. should they be in etc/destctrls? same syntax to follow as etc/dialrules? cause some agents here keep on accidentally sending fax jobs with destinations 9 or 91 or 323 or whatever. they're a waste of flops.

Thanks you for the respondent/s.
