Re: [hylafax-users] hylafax configuration question
You could modify the /var/spool/hylafax/bin/notify script to NOT send
notifications when this specific error is detected.
The notify script has a bunch of case statements for each type of error,
should be able to get that done by simply commenting out some lines, or
you could add your own 'if-then' for that specific case.

We use hylafax in a send only environment, but because of its current
usage it doesnt deserve its own phone line. It currently shares a phone
line with a physical fax machine that we send paper faxes from.
In this setup the modem is prone to "no dialtone detected" errors.
I want to be able to configure hylafax to ignore this error condition
and only report back to the user on success, or ultimate failure.
as the fax administrator, I only want to know about errors that are NOT
the "no dialtone detected" error. Is this possible?
I would also like to know how to adjust the number of retries before
ultimate failure. Can I make this adjustment sensitive to the error
type so that "no dialtone" errors have a high error rate, but other
errors have lower rates?
