now I understand your problem.

No, I sent that test fax myself from a remote system using Hylafax and a webmail interface. It's the real deal.

Probably this system has sent the cover page and the document as if it was written on half pages.
If your old thermal fax does not cut the pages it looks like one normal page. But according to the fax protocol your fax machine has received two separate pages with shorter length.


When you receive such a document with Hylafax or with a fax machine that prints on sheet paper or cuts the thermal paper you will get two separate pages.

Maybe the remote system has different configuration.
Check configuration entries PageChop and PageChopThreshold.

If this still does not work it may depend on the BoundingBox of your cover page document.
