[hylafax-users] faxstat responds slow on client

I have just added a local hylafax client on local
linux machine.  I have the exact same hylafax rpm
version running on other machines (1 with an identical
OS and identical version of sharutils).  However on
this particular machine faxstat responds very slowly. 
For example #faxstat -d takes about 8 seconds to
respond.

Anyone know what could be wrong?  faxsetup -client
seems to have gone fine.  

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
