[hylafax-users] Hmm, something seems to be hung, check your modem eh?

Running FreeBSD 5.3, HylaFAX 4.2.1.
I bought two new Multitech MT5634ZPX-PCI modems
and went to install them. Connected with cu
to both. They report "0,0,1.0.2,2.0,2.1,8".
btw anyone know what works best with this modem?

Anyway... running faxaddmodem ttyd4 or ttyd5...
-------------------------------------
Probing for best speed to talk to modem: 38400 OK.
Terminated

Hmm, something seems to be hung, check your modem eh?
(the above repeats forever till you kill it)
-------------------------------------

There is nothing else that is running that could
be accessing the modems that I can think of. I
rebooted the box and tried again with the same
results. Both modems act the same way with
faxaddmodem. Anyone know what is going on?
