I used the faxcover.ps sample provided with the program for the first
attempt, hoping to modify it later.

Hi James,
I don't think the hylafax server needs to see the .ps file. I use WHFC as
well, however I install the faxcover on each machine. My hylafax server
can't see each of the .ps files.
Did you use the example in the make_faxcover tar ball?
