Take a look at:

 http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=671

and

 http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=672

and see if any of that helps you... maybe even try backing-out the 
changes.  I suspect that Bug 672 is more relevant, though.
